Hi, we are on the Fantasy Merry Time Cruise on 12th Dec. can you please tell me if there is a Character breakfast and do we require tickets for it? If so, where would we get them from? Many thanks again:)

    Ahoy, Wendy!

I know you must be so excited about your upcoming Very Merrytime Cruise on the Disney Fantasy! The whole fleet of Disney ships will be decked out in holiday splendor for these festive sailings. You'll get to enjoy lots of holiday-themed activities and entertainment, all while enjoying the beautiful decorations throughout the ship. Just wait until you see the gorgeous Christmas tree in the lobby - it's breathtaking!

While the Disney Fantasy doesn't offer a Character Breakfast, don't worry - you'll still have plenty of opportunities to meet your favorite Disney friends! Each day, you'll receive a detailed schedule of all the fun activities and events happening around the ship, called a Personal Navigator. There will be a dedicated section for Character Appearances, so you can see in a glance which characters will be appearing each day. We usually bring along colored highlighters to mark any "can't miss" opportunities to meet and greet our favorite characters.

For holiday cruises, you're probably likely to see the characters dressed up in their holiday best, which makes for an awesome photo op. You'll also have a chance to spend some time with the man himself - Santa Claus, so make sure to bring your Christmas list so he can check it twice! (And try your best to stay on the "nice" list!)

If there are any popular character meet and greets that require a ticket (Anna/Elsa, Princess Gathering), you can stop by the Guest Services desk in the lobby to pick up a free pass that guarantees you a spot in line at a specific time. For all other Character Appearances, all you need to do is show up a few minutes before they're scheduled to appear to grab a spot in line.

I hope this helps answer your question! Please let us know if you have any more questions before you set sail! - Diane W.
