Going on the Fantasy in May. My husband and I drink lots of soda water/club soda/ seltzer water. Does the help yourself soda machines offer this? Also can we get it from the MDR or the bar without brinh charges?

Ahoy there Lindsay! Welcome aboard planDisney! I'm so excited that you'll be going from coast-to-coast to embark on an incredible Disney Cruise Line vacation on the Disney Fantasy! Get ready for adventure the likes of which have never been seen!

What was it that Sebastian sang? "We got no troubles, life is the bubbles," and not just UNDER the sea, but while sailing on it, too! I guess you could say "bubbles are life" haha!

As a fellow imbiber of bubbles of the unflavored variety, I'm happy to report that you can definitely get club soda/carbonated water in the main dining rooms for no charge during your meals! And even better: once you meet your fantastic Dining Team, Disney's exclusive Rotational Dining means they'll learn your preferences and you might be surprised just how quickly that glass of cool, fresh, effervescent water is waiting for you when you arrive for your dinner! On our last cruise, our team knew that I liked unsweetened iced tea and a club soda with lime with dinner by the second night - and sure enough, it was there waiting for me when we arrived at dinner each night thereafter! It's a tiny detail, but one that is so appreciated - they really do notice everything!

Now when you're topside and looking for a quick pick-me-up or thirst-quencher, the beverage stations on Deck 11 of the Disney Fantasy typically do have a "SODA" choice right there on the fountain! That's always subject to change like the tides, but in my experience, we've been able to find it on almost all of our cruises! The only place you'll find you may be charged for soda water is at the lounges, but you can always ask a crew member to be certain - maybe it was just our sparkling personalities that made it happen, haha!

Wherever you get your bubbles most frequently on your vacation, Lindsay, I do suggest you remember to take along a larger reusable cup. While you'll be asked to use the disposable cups available to fill it for health and safety reasons, it's a great way to use less paper waste AND get the beverages you seek! We love taking our beverages from the pool deck to the Walt Disney Theatre to catch the amazing Broadway-style shows - now that's a planDrew-approved tip!

I hope that sets you on course for a great Disney Cruise Line vacation this May, Lindsay! Thank you so much for your question, and if any others bubble to the surface, please bottle them up and send them my way here at planDisney!

Fair winds, following seas, and an abundance of carbonation!
