We are going on the Fantasy on March 3, 2018. The alcohol permitted states that we can bring 6 beer (max 12 ounce) or 2 bottles of wine. I don't like beer and I don't like wine, can I bring a 6 pack of some other kind of alcoholic beverage?

    Ahoy, Lana!

Thanks for cruising by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

I'm so happy to hear you have an upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation booked on the gorgeous Disney Fantasy. Our most recent Disney Cruise vacation was aboard the Fantasy, and we had the most amazing time. I just finished uploading our vacation photos and reliving all the memories we made onboard. I know you'll soon be making magical memories of your own!

I see you're familiar with Disney Cruise Line's alcohol policy, which allows Guests to bring aboard a limited amount of beer or wine in their carry-on luggage. The policy also states that "bringing liquors and spirits (including powdered alcohol) on board is prohibited. These items will be stored until the end of the cruise." Unfortunately, that means you wouldn't be allowed to carry on alcoholic beverages that are considered "liquor" or "spirits".

The good news is that Disney Cruise Line has lots of great, tasty drinks for sale onboard, and offer "Drinks of the Day" each day of your sailing. The bartenders are lots of fun, and can accommodate your tastes and preferences (no wine or beer, please!) and craft drinks to your liking. Disney also offers several beverage tastings during the cruise, which also might be something you're interested in. If you don't make reservations ahead of time, you can always check with Guest Services once you're onboard to see what offerings have space available. The tasting events have a minimal charge, usually between $20 - $40 per person.

Thanks again for stopping by with your question! Please come back and visit us here at the Moms Panel if you have more planning questions before your vacation.
