Ahoy, Linda!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like your upcoming Disney Cruise is going to be a vacation not only filled with adventure but celebration, too! I love that you are marking this exciting time in your son's life by taking a family cruise. I'm honored to help you think of ways to celebrate!
I'm so glad you've already sailed over to the
Gifts & Amenities page on Disney Cruise Line's website to see the different treats you can order prior to your cruise and have "magically" delivered to your stateroom! Many families love to decorate their stateroom door with magnetic signs announcing what they're celebrating onboard. It would be so fun if you created celebratory graduation signs (maybe with your son's picture on them) at home, and brought them with you to magnetically hang on the outside of your stateroom door! Another idea that might be fun would be to have matching shirts made for your family to wear one day during your cruise in honor of your son's elementary school graduation! Then, you can stop by one of the
onboard photographers before dinner and take a family photo while wearing them. Lastly, if you haven't done so already, I recommend calling the agents at Disney Cruise Line and letting them know that you will be celebrating during your upcoming voyage. They will make a note on your reservation about your son graduating from elementary school. Once onboard, your Server will read this note and maybe plan a special dessert to honor your son's achievements one evening in the Main Dining restaurant!
Linda, I'm wishing you an unforgettable, pixie-dusted cruise aboard the Disney Fantasy! If you can think of any more questions, please come back and visit us again!
