Ahoy Roberta!
Your Disney Cruise Line vacation on the gorgeous
Disney Fantasy is nearly here! I’m so excited for you to experience this luxurious ship (my personal favorite in the fleet) and everything that’s included in your special cruise. Thanks for coming to planDisney with your question on pricing for
Internet service while at sea, I’m happy to share those details with you.
I really enjoy the forced disconnection from my busy technology life once onboard, but I completely understand the need to stay connected to loved ones or critical work while you’re away. Fortunately, there are many options on the Disney Fantasy to personalize the level of connectivity to your needs. This ship has changed to a time-based model for Internet services. If you purchase a package, and later in the sailing decide that you want to upgrade to a package with more speed and capabilities, you will only be charged the difference between the two.
Please remember that connectivity is based on satellites and while highly reliable, weather or other conditions may make the service intermittent at times during your sailing. You may purchase a package for up to four devices in one stateroom or each Guest may have their own personalized package.
Prices are always subject to change, but the following rates are available for your upcoming September 2023 sailing:
Stay Connected - Access to basic social media sites, such as Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter)
- $16/day (full voyage)
- $18/day (24 hours)
Basic Surf - Includes the “Stay Connected” package, plus access to web browsing, email, and voice calls
- $24/day (full voyage)
- $28/day (24 hours)
Premium Surf - Includes the “Basic Surf” package, plus video on YouTube, Snapchat, and TikTok, plus video calling and music streaming. Video streaming will not be available.
- $34/day (full voyage)
- $42/day (24 hours)
Concierge Guests will receive complimentary internet depending on their stateroom category; please inquire with your Concierge team upon boarding for the full details that may apply to you if staying in one of these staterooms.
If you need some quiet time or a more private space for some work,
two of my favorite hideaways onboard are Cove Café and Meridian. You’ll find both to be warm, cozy, adult-only environments where your privacy is respected, and you can enjoy a drink or snack while you work. I’ve also had success with connectivity with a fabulous view on deck near Currents, for some fresh ocean air.
You’ll find the information to purchase a package under Connect @ Sea in your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once you flip to
“onboard mode” when you step foot on the Disney Fantasy. As always, please don’t hesitate to ask a friendly Crew member for support if needed to fully activate the Internet services you need.
Wishing you a magical, smoothly connected cruise!
