Ahoy there, Iris! Your
7-Night Mediterranean Cruise from Barcelona is now less than a month away, so I’m glad you decided to sail by planDisney with your question.
Late May and early June are my favorite times to visit the Mediterranean. While it’s hard to predict the weather, that timeframe likes to show off temperatures that are warmer than what you’d find in spring, but don’t yet feature the heat and humidity typically found in the summer months. You can expect temperatures in the 70s-80s F (or mid-20s Celsius). The sun also starts to set later that time of year, so take that into account if you want to enjoy the sunset from your verandah or with a cocktail in hand from the top of the ship.
Although I wouldn’t expect Queen Elsa or Olaf to show up with any personal flurries, you may want to pack a light jacket or cardigan to wear to dinner or when watching a late-night Funnel Vision movie under the stars. Of course, you can always visit
Mickey’s Mainsail to pick up one of my favorite souvenirs: a Disney Spirit Jersey. If you need any other ideas for what to include in your suitcase, check out this
cruise packing list.
The sea is calling and I can’t wait for you to answer onboard the
Disney Fantasy. While entertainment is subject to change, it looks like you’ll be able to enjoy three different
Deck Parties during your trip as well: Sailing Away,
Pirate Night (Night 4), and Mickey’s Color Spin (Night 5). Enjoy every moment! And if any other questions come up before you leave, I hope you’ll visit us here at
planDisney again.
Embrace the magic,
Sami
