We are going on the Fantasy cruise in April. What options do we have to eat dinner as a family other than our set time at 8:30, such as restaurants that don't have a set seating time? Thank you!

    Ahoy Colleen,

Congratulations on your upcoming trip!  The Fantasy is stunningand I know you'll really enjoy it.  Please try not to skip any of the wonderful restaurants on the Disney Fantasy!   They are beautiful and the food is extraordinary!  I really don't want you to miss out on anything that magnificent ship has to offer.  Check out my friend, Disney Mom Andi discussing Dream Dining aboard the Disney Dream.  We don't have any videos on Dining for the Fantasy yet, but the Dream is the Fantasy's sister ship and the restaurants are very similar.

Yes, there are other places to eat onboard as a family that don't have set dining times.  There is Cabanas, the indoor/outdoor casual dining restaurant.   Really awesome choice because it will offer several of the dishes that are being served in the main dining rooms.  If you want super casual, you can always find quick service dining on the pool deck.  Choose from Luigi's Pizza, Doc's Grill, and Fillmore's Favorites.  You'll be able to choose from burgers, chicken tenders (the best in the world), pizza, fresh fruit, salads and sandwich wraps.  Frozone and Eye Scream offer delicious frozen treats such as smoothies and ice cream.

Please let me know if you have any other questions, I'm very happy to help.  Bon voyage Colleen!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
