Ahoy Julie –
Are you getting excited yet? You will be cruising THIS WEEK on the gorgeous
Disney Fantasy, and I am feeling some serious Disney envy (smile). We enjoyed this majestic vessel last month during our Spring Break and my husband had to drag me off the ship when it was over. My crew loved the fine cuisine both in the restaurants in Rotational Dining and the special adults only Palo and Remy. Along with the food, we found the activities onboard to be above and beyond our wildest dreams. We danced with Goofy at one of the nightly family dance parties, did the B-11 Dance at BINGO, and sang our hearts out at Karaoke. The best part of the trip had to be
Castaway Cay. There is nothing like kicking back in a hammock and enjoying a little slice of heaven. At Castaway Cay, you can bring your own snorkel equipment and life jackets or rent for a nominal fee at
Gil’s Fins and Boats which is close to
Scuttle’s Cove. Whether you bring your own gear or rent, there is no charge to snorkel in the designated lagoon at the Family Beach and at Serenity Bay. There are no age restrictions for snorkeling that I can find posted, but for safety reasons, Disney Cruise Line offers snorkel rental for ages 5 and up. Julie, have a “Fantas”tic vacation this week and thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
