Hi Moms. Had fantastic trip to POR last fall, your help was invaluable, TY. Can't wait to go back. We are In the early stages of planning our next vist and was thinking of SSR treehouse. Can you give me some insight, pros & cons into this resort. Thank

Hi Caoimhne! Sounds like you had an incredible stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort with treasured memories sure to last for years to come. And now I see it’s time to plan your next visit to Walt Disney World.
I've been in awe of the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort since catching a glimpse from the Sassagoula River! I’ve only visited Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort for an afternoon a while back but I loved the laid back feel and I finally got a closer look at the wondrous Treehouse Villas. Elevated some 10 feet of the ground on pedestals, these 3 bedroom life-sized tree houses outfitted with Disney's signature magic, seem to blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings. Now we can't wait to visit!

To find out what it’s really like to stay at the Treehouse Villas, I enlisted the help of a good friend with 2 visits under her belt to share the pros and cons.
On the up side - the Treehouse Villas are modernly styled and offer more privacy than you'll likely find anywhere else at Walt Disney World. Guests can enjoy their own their own pool as well as a quick boat ride to Downtown Disney and Disney's Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter where you’ll find great food. The closest theme parts are Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

On the down side - because it’s remote, the Treehouse villas can be a 10-15 trek back to the main resort amenities like children activities, recreational pools and restaurants. While some villas are outfitted for wheelchair access, the majority have staircase only access which could be challenging for strollers and carrying luggage/groceries and such.

I hope this helps as you plan your next magical and memorable vacation.
