You all are fantastic! If you get into your dining ressies on time, how much to allow for table dinners on average? On DDP

    Hi Heather,

DIsney Mom Whitney told me on our last trip that table service meals generally take 90 minutes from start to finish.  I tested out her theory, and I have to agree.  The pace at all of the table service restaurants is similar.  Surprisingly, won't feel like you're being rushed or that you're waiting around too long for service.

Now, of course, you can spend less time than that at meals that feature buffets.  However, generally those restaurants feature characters or some other form of entertainment that you'll miss if you try to hurry through your meal.  My advice, view dining as an attraction.  So many of the restaurants are unique only to Disney, and you'll want to take your time enjoying them.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
