Fantasmic viewing area at Disneyland. If we are in our reserved viewing area and need the restroom, or want to get coffee, can one of the party leave to do so if the others stay put? I mean you are there an hour or so early and you have a ticket.

Hi Lorita! Welcome back! We love having Guests circle back to us with questions that keep the magic rolling into their next Disneyland Resort vacation!

It sounds like you are on your way to enjoying a Fantasmic! Dining Package! A night around Rivers of America watching Fantasmic! is a night you will never forget! You'll be journeying through Mickey's dreams right alongside him, dodging Maleficent's fire, stepping into The Lion King and Pirates of the Caribbean, and ultimately helping him harness the power of imagination to defeat some fabulous Disney villains! ... and the finale always leaves me grinning from EAR to EAR!

I have some good news for you! With a Fantasmic! Dining Package, you will receive a voucher when you check in for your meal, whether that's at Hungry Bear Restaurant, River Belle Terrace, or Blue Bayou Restaurant. This will be your ticket into that preferred viewing area for the show. Guests are welcome to come and go from the area while they wait, but I would hold on tight to that ticket. I know we are all used to having digital tickets and paper tickets seem like a thing of the past, so be sure to put them in a safe place as you pop out for treats!

Even though your dining package includes a spot down by the water to see the show, from my experience, you will still want to get there relatively early. It will fill in quickly and you will want to have your pick within the space. You're also smart to only send one or two members of your party out for refreshments at a time so someone can hold onto your area. Now all that's left to do is enjoy the show!

You sound like someone that enjoys a good Nighttime Spectacular! We just heard the news that both Disneyland Forever fireworks and the Main Street Electrical Parade will be giving their farewell performances on September 1st! I know we will all shed a little tear to see these magical moments head off into the sunset! If you have a chance, I would try to catch them during your trip, especially the Main Street Electrical Parade which is celebrating its 50th anniversary. There is a new finale float celebrating Togetherness with some favorite characters from Coco, Encanto, The Princess and the Frog, and so many more that will just make your heart smile. The Entertainment Schedule is live for your dates, so you can always take a peek while planning to see when these might fit into your days. While it's generally easiest to grab a spot for the second, later parade, it's hard to pass up a spot along Main Street, U.S.A. for the first one when you can also enjoy Disneyland Forever fireworks just after the parade passes. If you don't need to be on Main Street, U.S.A. and would prefer a bit more wiggle room and a bit less wait time, try a spot by "it's a small world" back in Fantasyland!

Lorita, magic awaits! If you have any more questions about your planning, you know where to find us here at planDisney!
