Hi there, Cory! We are so happy you stopped by planDisney with your question! You are going to love being in the magic during
Halloween Time. The parks come to life with grim grinning ghosts, Mickey pumpkins, and characters in some of the cutest costumes around! And can we talk about the snacks and treats?! A fall Disneyland day is not complete without a pumpkin-flavored treat while you stroll down Main Street, U.S.A.!
I love to see that you are already planning out your Nighttime Spectaculars. This is a very smart move as you won't want to miss
Fantasmic! amidst all the Halloween hoopla! It's one of my favorite shows and truly stands the test of time. My kids love it and talk about the moment fireworks come out of Mickey's fingertips at least once a week! I'm happy to report that since Fantasmic! takes place at
Disneyland Park and the
Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party occurs at
Disney California Adventure Park, they run on their own schedules which do not impact each other. One thing to note is that once September hits, Fantasmic! does move to a Friday through Sunday schedule and does not occur on weeknights Monday through Thursday. While the
Entertainment Schedule is not quite out for your dates, it should pop up in the calendar about six weeks ahead of time. Right now, I can see through September 14th, so just about two weeks to go and you should be able to start making some pixie-dusted plans!
If you're interested in enjoying a great view of Fantasmic!, you might want to check into the availability of one of the
dining packages offered.
River Belle Terrace and
Blue Bayou Restaurant offer packages that include a seated meal and a voucher for one of the evening performances. For these, you would just make a reservation as normal and request the dining package upon arrival. River Belle Terrace even offers an option where you can enjoy your meal on the outside patio while watching the show! This requires a special reservation made through the
Fantasmic! Dining Package page of the website. Another option I love is the
On-the-Go package at Hungry Bear Restaurant, where you take your meal with you to enjoy anywhere in the park and also get a voucher for a prime viewing spot. This requires advanced reservations through the On-the-Go page of the website. My fellow panelist
Kamini just enjoyed this special option with her daughters and they had a GREAT view of the show!
Cory, I hope this was helpful in your planning! If you have any more questions, you know where to find us here at
planDisney.
Never stop dreaming!
