Fantasmic my mom wants to go this week and see the show, will it be available everyday of this week??

Greetings, Jorge, and welcome to planDisney! I love that Fantasmic! is on your radar. It's such an iconic nighttime spectacular – there's nothing quite like watching Mickey as the Sorcerer's Apprentice use the power of his imagination to save the day.

The Hours & Events Calendar is a great resource for viewing showtimes for an upcoming visit. It's updated on a rolling basis for dates up to six weeks away. According to the calendar, Fantasmic! is scheduled for Friday and Saturday this week (April 10 and 11). This time of year, Fantasmic! usually shows on Sundays, too, but not this week because Disneyland will close early on April 12 for a special ticketed event (Disney Channel Nite). Please keep in mind that entertainment schedules are subject to change.

Arrive early for the best spots along the Rivers of America. Typically, it's a little easier to get a great view for the second performance. One of my favorite views is from the bridge above Pirates of the Caribbean, although it fills quickly!

There are Fantasmic! dining packages that come with lunch or dinner at a participating location and a voucher for reserved viewing of the show. It would be such a fun addition to your trip! However, showtimes are more limited right now, so it can be more difficult to get a reservation. I don't see any available at the moment, but you can keep checking to see if any show up.

Here are some other entertainment options I think you and your mom will enjoy at Disneyland:

    • Paint the Night: The streets of Disneyland will be illuminated by the glow of more than a million colorful LED lights as high-energy music fills the air and dazzling floats make their way along the parade route. You will see Sorcerer Mickey on his own float at the end!
    • Wondrous Journeys: This beloved projection show (with fireworks on select nights) honors the legacy of classic animated films with an amazing soundtrack. This one always tugs on my heartstrings!
    • The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade: Soak up the festive atmosphere of the 70th Anniversary by watching this cute little parade.
Jorge, I hope you and your mom have a fantastic time visiting the Disneyland Resort this week. If you think of any questions ahead of your visit, feel free to reach out to us again here at planDisney!

    Wishing you magic,
