Hello and welcome to the Moms Panel!

I am thrilled to hear about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!  You and your family must be counting down the days.  The days always seem to drag on for me, but before you know it, the day just pops-up at your door.  Let's go ahead and get started.

Yes, I do see how you are concerned about the time.  You will be cutting it real close.  This is where your VIP voucher will come in handy.  Generally, dining at Chef Mickey's takes approximately one hour to an hour and a half.  This allows time for Mickey & the Gang to make their way around to each and every table. However, my family and I have been in-and-out within an hour many times.  Let's just go with the worst case scenario and put your dinner at an hour and a half.  You would need to be at the bus stop no later than 8:20 p.m. Buses run approximately every 20 minutes.  You would then need to allow for travel time which is 10 to 15 minutes.  Once you walk off the bus, it could be 9:00 p.m. which is show time for Fantasmic!  Again, my family and I have able to enjoy an hour meal at Chef Mickey's.  We were able to have pictures taken with all the characters.  In my opinion, I would definitely keep your Fantasmic! package and try to reschedule Chef Mickey's for another day.

    ~Have a MAGICAL day!~
