for the Fantasmic at Hollywood studios ,how early before each show should you get there to get the best seats

Hi Marcia! The area for the Fantasmic show at Hollywood Studios is quite large. Many guests want to get down close to the water as they think that is the best seat in the house. I disagree and prefer a seat up much higher as I feel you get a better view of the entire show.  I have sat on the right side, left side, and center and really can't tell you that there is one better then the other. I know it is a personal preference so it's hard to recommend one side or the other. I will say that we like to choose something that is closer to an exit area as when the show is over the crowds leaving are large. Most of the guests make Fantasmic the last thing they do in the park and then leave which means buses and boats will have long lines and be crowded. If you sit where you can scoot away rather quickly it will alleviate some wait time for transportation.

I recommend getting to the show area about 30-45 minutes ahead of time. This can be a wait for younger children so bring something for them to keep occupied and busy. We enjoy people watching and they will have some guest interaction entertainment in the audience to keep you interested. The show is wonderful and for many guests a highlight to their vacation. Enjoy the magic of Disney!
