Are Fantasmic and the firework going to be showing at the end of April 2025 or are nighttime shows closing in preparations for the 70th celebrations?

    Hi Lauren,

Welcome back to planDisney! We appreciate that you continue to trust us with helping you plan your Disney trips.

Both the Disneyland app and website provide park hours and event details. On the app, click the three bars in the bottom right-hand corner, then scroll down to “Park Hours & Info.” There, you can see what parades, fireworks, and nighttime entertainment are scheduled for the day. Naturally, all events are subject to change, especially due to weather. When I checked today, I saw the schedule up until April 13, 2025. On that day, Fantasmic! will be happening at 9:00 PM and 10:30 PM, and fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 PM. You can view Fire of the Rising Moons with fireworks from Batuu or see Mickey's Mix Magic with fireworks from Main Street and the castle. There has not been any official word on a guaranteed closure, but I recommend checking back to see how long the two shows will be running. Your trip also overlaps with the Season of the Force, so I recommend checking out food and entertainment coming to the park!

If you're like me, you're looking forward to more news on the 70th anniversary! Just today, we got a glimpse of Mickey and his friends in their 70th anniversary outfits, and we learned that they will be celebrating down Main Street U.S.A. in “The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade.” It looks like Max, Duffy, and ShellieMay have come to celebrate as well! Be sure to check out the latest updates from the Disney Parks Blog and follow them on Instagram for more news. I hope you'll be able to come back and enjoy this amazing celebration.

Lauren, I hope this information is helpful. If you have any other questions or need help planning other aspects of your trip, feel free to reach out to me or one of my fellow panelists. We’d be happy to share our thoughts.

    See you real soon!
