We have the Fantasmic Dining Package. Originally thinking there were two show times, we were set with the early show. Now seeing it's been changed to one showtime at 9PM. We have Oga's Cantina reservations at 9:40 PM. Is there a late grace period?

Hi, Makayla!  Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

In my opinion, watching Fantasmic! and having a drink at Oga's Cantina are two highlights of a day spent at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Let's see if we can work out the logistics so that you can get to enjoy both of these experiences during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

As far as a grace period for arriving late to a dining reservation goes, that is at the restaurant's Cast Members' discretion, so I cannot guarantee that the Oga's Cantina Cast Members will be able to accommodate you if you do not arrive on time.  It is especially important to arrive promptly when you have a reservation booked toward the end of the park's operating hours.  My best advice to you is to try to modify your Oga's Cantina reservation.  If you don't see a reservation time that better fits your schedule, keep checking back.  Guests' plans change all the time, so last-minute reservations are always popping up as other people cancel.

If you cannot modify your Oga's Cantina reservation, I would recommend trying to leave Fantasmic!  a bit early.  Fantasmic! is a 29-minute show.  Under normal circumstances, you could probably walk at a quick pace from Fantasmic! to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in ten minutes.  However, at the end of the show, the crowd leaving the Fantasmic! amphitheater moves very slowly.  If you get caught in the exiting crowd, I think it's very unlikely that you will make it to Oga's Cantina by 9:40.

The seating section for Guests with a Fantasmic! Dining Package is right in the middle of the amphitheater.  There really is no bad seat in this section, so I would suggest sitting at the top of the dining package seating area.  Try to arrive early for the show so that you can sit along the aisle.  That way, if you exit the show shortly before the end, you won't be disturbing other Guests.  Hopefully, this will get you to your Oga's Cantina reservation on time.

Makayla, I hope everything works out with your Disney's Hollywood Studios itinerary.  If you have any other questions, please visit us again.  See ya real soon!
