Hey, Hector!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! So in addition to seeing an epic battle between good and evil during
Fantasmic! you also want to blast off to a galaxy far, far away. Both great choices and you won't be disappointed.
I just got back from Disney's Hollywood Studios where Fantasmic! showed at 9:00 p.m. and
Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular was scheduled at 9:45 p.m. The fireworks started promptly and the show lasted about 15 minutes with three distinct acts.
Unless Disney Cast Members empty out the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater quickly you will likely miss the beginning of the fireworks as fireworks times rarely change.
To see both shows completely, I suggest you cancel your
Fantasmic! Dining Package which forces you to see the first show at 9:00 p.m. and catch the less crowded 10:30 p.m. show.
Disney Dad Tip: The best viewing area for Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular is at Center Stage past the projection towers in front of the The Great Movie Ride at the end of Hollywood Boulevard. To make it more spectacular you could sip on a Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake from the
Tune-In Lounge or snack on a BB-8 Lemon Cupcake from the
Backlot Express.
Hector, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
