I consider myself the unofficial expert on all things Fantasmic!: it is my favorite nighttime spectacular at Walt Disney World and I never pass up an opportunity to take a journey beyond my wildest imagination. I actually got to see the Disneyland version this past July, and it was so cool to see how it was similar, yet different from the version we know at love at Disney's Hollywood Studios! I could talk about Fantasmic! until fireworks shoot out of my fingertips, but you're here to get clarification on what's included in the Fantasmic! Dining Package. I'd be happy to help you with your question.
I visited the
Fantasmic! Dining Package website and see what you mean about how the offering is worded. The description does say that a non-alcoholic beverage is included and that guests age 21 or older can substitute it for an alcoholic beverage. I think the statement below the table of restaurants is clarifying that additional alcohol is not included and neither is admission to Hollywood Studios. Since the original offering describes a non-alcoholic drink, I think this is boilerplate language indicating that any additional adult beverages outside of the package description will not be included.

I am rooting for you and believe you will be able to successfully substitute your beverage! Now, Petch: what are you thinking of ordering? I would normally default to the Filet Mignon, but the description of the Braised Duck Pappardelle Pasta has my mouth watering!

Fantasmic! Your dining package entitles you to a seat in a reserved section of the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater, so you won't have to hurry over prior to showtime. I like to sit in the first few rows to be close to the action, but there is something to be said about a seat toward the rear, as you get a panoramic view of the show. Don't forget to grab some candied nuts, popcorn, or a Mickey-shaped pretzel for a show snack, and make sure to cheer loudly when Mickey first appears on stage. Have a magical time!
