Hi we have a Fantasmic dining package it's currently for 4 people but two of the people may not be able to make it that day. If they can't make it we will be charged a fee for them?

    Hi Sienna,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question. It’s lovely to see you again, my fellow Canadian!

We often plan to visit Walt Disney World Resort with friends and other family members and so I’m used to having our plans change, sometimes the day of our Disney dining reservations. Because, from what I understand, the Fantasmic! Dining Package isn’t a pre-paid experience, you can typically cancel it the day before your reservation without paying a cancellation fee.

Based on my experience, so long as most of the original dining party actually did arrive for a dining experience, if one or two people didn’t show up, we weren’t charged a cancellation fee. So if two members of your party aren’t able to attend, you should be ok. I’d strongly recommend, however, that you try to modify your dining reservation with your My Disney Experience account, right up until the last minute, in order to give other Guests a chance at a reservation for themselves, too.

I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect Disney Day. As always, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
