    Have fantasmic booked for 8/19/13 with MM for lunch. I keep reading that you still need to get to the show early even if you have the voucher. If we get to the gate at 8:20pm for the 8:30 show, we are still guaranteed a seat in the reserved area right?

    Oh yum!  Mama Melrose's was a good pick for your Fantasmic! Dinner Package!

    So here is the deal on the VIP seating...You will still want to arrive at the ampitheatre about 30 minutes prior to the show. I know this sounds like a lot, but it really is not.  This area is huge, so it takes a while to get thousands of guests seated and ready for the start of the show.   Also, because this show is so popular, they will fill every available seat so if the VIP section does not fill up by a certain time, they will start to fill it in with the stand-by guests.  (Word to Stand-by guests:  this does not happen often so do not rely on last minute seating!) 

    If you decide to forego the the Dinner Package, you will need to be in line one hour prior to the show, and even then you will not be guaranteed a seat.  It is up to you, but I would stick with the plan.  Enjoy your lunch, and plan to be at the VIP entrance by 8pm.  It will all be worth it for a super night of Fantasmic Fun!
