How does the Fanstasmic Dining Package work with kids under 3?

Greetings, Kenta, and welcome to planDisney! I love that you are thinking of getting the Fantasmic! Dining Package for your upcoming visit. You can eat at one of the participating restaurants along the Rivers of America and receive a voucher that can be redeemed at a separate location for a premium view of the show.

Kenta, are you ready for some pixie-dusted news? While you must include your toddler in the head count when making your dining package reservation, you do not need to purchase a dining package for them. That's just for Guests ages three and older. Your little one can share from your plate, or you can purchase something for them from the menu (outside of the package).

Each participating location offers a slightly different experience. Do you want to eat earlier in the day and receive a voucher, or eat during the show? Do you want to have a wider selection of food items, or do you prefer a specialty menu? Take a look through the offerings and choose which works best for you.

Fantasmic! is such an iconic show. There's nothing quite like watching Mickey as the Sorcerer's Apprentice use the power of his imagination to save the day. I love the finale when Disney Characters wave hello from aboard the Mark Twain Riverboat. Keep an eye out for the hidden Mickey just as the riverboat appears!

There are other dining packages that similarly pair a meal with reserved viewing for a show. I particularly like the Paint the Night package with Plaza Inn – the show is quite popular, so it's nice to have a dedicated space where you can go to enjoy all the dazzling lights. The World of Color Dessert Party is another tasty option – doesn't a platter of treats with a view of towering fountains and lively projections sound divine?

And for your little one, there’s so much magic around every corner at the Disneyland Resort! I recently shared some ideas for toddler-friendly activities if you’d like to check them out. One of my favorite newer offerings is Disney Junior: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! at California Adventure. It's upbeat, interactive, and full of Disney pals your child will adore. Also, check out The Key to Disneyland – it's a fun experience that ends with a special collectible pin.

Kenta, I wish you and your family a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. If you have any other questions before your trip, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney.

    Your pal,
