Hi! This is my family's 5th visit to WDW, but never in Dec. We are going from Dec. 15th to Dec. 22. What are the crowds usually like then? I'm guessing it's not too busy since free dining is being offered! Thanks for all your great responses!

    Hi Jodi!

Congratulations on your upcoming holiday vacation in Walt Disney World!  It's one of my favorite times of the year to visit the Parks.  The decorations, the food, the shows, the parades, and the overall atmosphere lend to a magical visit at this special time of year!

During the time you are going, you will generally find the crowd levels to be mostly moderate to fairly high on some days.  Due to the seasonal atmosphere, the special events, and the fact that many schools are out at this time, you will find lots of folks coming to celebrate the season at Walt Disney World.  However, the crowds should be manageable.  Those days right before Christmas are usually the highest capacity in crowd levels during this time, so it looks like you will be leaving before the highest crowd level time!

Have a wonderful time, and enjoy all of the special attractions while you're there.  A special tip from me:  Take some time to visit many of the Disney Resorts and enjoy their festive decorations, including life-size gingerbread houses and chocolate carousels!  Amazing!!!
