Hi, my family's planning to visit may14-20 what is the weather like should I pack pants or dresses for the kids and is the crowd low?

Hi Cindy! May weather can be unpredictable which I guess is any month of the year in Florida. It is the beginning of the rainy season so definitely pack rain gear and extra sneakers so if one gets wet you have the back up for the little feet! I was there one year when it didn't stop raining for a week. But it never stopped our fun. We just grabbed the ponchos and enjoyed the parks and laughed at the memories we were making.

The temperatures will be warm at this time of year. You can find some days nearing 90 and then others in the high 70's. But for the most part expect warm days of mid 80's. Shorts are certainly needed at this time of year over pants. I always bring one long pant and mostly shorts and khakis. Sun dresses would be comfortable as well with a light wrap for early mornings or late evenings.

Crowds are so hard to predict. May is before the large crunch of summer family vacationers but you will find end of school groups. There is always something wonderful happening at Disney so you never can predict what will draw people in whether it is an event or a sporting function at Wide World of Sports or a business convention. But with that said May is still much better then June. I personally avoid the summer months due to heat and crowds. I am sure you will find the parks manageable and magical all at the same time!
