    This will be my family's first trip to WDW we are planning on January 3-7 2014. I am wondering how busy the parks usually are during this time. Is there something I should be aware of that is going on that week? Is there a better week to choose?

    Hi Andy!
    I love when I can help a family plan their first trip to Walt Disney World!! It's like going for my first time all over again.
    Your timing is actually quite good as your planned trip falls right between the holidays and the start of the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend (January 8-12). I think you will find the parks fairly easy to navigate crowdwise, as the holiday crowds will be mostly gone and the "marathoners" and their families will not have arrived en masse yet.
