Family's first trip to Disney World in the beginning of August (first two weeks). How's the weather there during that time? And how do I go by selecting the right price for hotel (would like to stay in one of the parks) and parks? Thanks.

    Hi Gloria!

We at the Disney Parks Moms Panel absolutely LOVE first time visitors. I get excited just thinking about the amazing experience you are about to have. Welcome to the family!

Temperatures in Orlando in August are usually quite hot. The average high is around 91 degrees and the average low is around 73 degrees. You may want to plan your schedule for some time at the Water Parks as well as a break at your hotel during the hottest part of the day. One thing I love about Walt Disney World is that many Rides and Attractions (and most of the restaurants) are inside where there is air conditioning. Even during the summer months, there is always a spot to cool off.

As far as booking your hotel and purchasing tickets, go to the Disneyworld website and click on the appropriate tab. Once there, you can look around at all the options and see which one is right for you and your budget.

Thanks for stopping by today. Please let us know if we can help you with any additional planning. Have a magical day!
