This is my family's first trip to Disney! We are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. What building do you recommend staying in closet to the main pool and amenities? We have a 6 and 2 year old. Any other advice with staying here?

    Hi Melissa,

Congratulations on your upcoming, first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!  Woohoo!  Your family is in store for such a magical adventure.

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is one of my family's favorites!  Some of the closest rooms (not in the "Preferred Category") are in building 22 of the Martinique "village".  This building (and the others near it) are also nice because they are close to one of the "quiet pools," a beautiful sandy beach and a playground.  Your children will love the Fuentes Del Morro Pool and shipwreck-themed water play area, so make sure you schedule some time away from the parks to stay and play.  We also love winding down in the evening with the Caribbean Beach Campfire and viewing just a bit of fireworks, from Epcot's IllumiNations: Reflections from Earth, just over the luscious landscaping.

Your family is going to have such a wonderful time making memories you will cherish forever.  If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know!  Have an amazing vacation!

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family: graduations, pregnancies, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, reunions, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon. I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help add a little extra Pixie Dust to your next magical adventure. Learn More About Lauren
