    My family's first trip to disney is coming up in a few weeks. I have 2 boys ages 7 & 9..what are the must do's in Disney Springs? And also, how long is the boat ride from the hotel to the DS area? Thank you

     Vicki, I am just thrilled to hear about your upcoming vacation. Your family is going to have the very best time experiencing the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort! 

     My boys are 6 and 8-years old, and they always look forward to visiting Disney Springs during our stay. I'm happy to share our family's must-do's there! 

     There are so many amazing dining locations at Disney Springs - it's hard to choose! My boys LOVE going to T-REX for a meal, and I bet your guys would like it too. We also especially enjoy Wolfgang Puck Express and D-LUXE Burger. Oh gosh, I'm starting to get really hungry! In addition to incredible restaurants, Disney Springs is home to incredible stores. No visit is complete for my boys without a stop at The LEGO Store! We also always stop by World Of Disney, the world's largest Disney character store. It's the perfect place to find the perfect souvenir!

     From Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside or French Quarter and Disney's Old Key West Resort, the ferryboat ride to Disney Springs is between 15 - 20 minutes. From Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, the ride is only about 10 minutes!
