Hi Moms' it's my family's first time visiting for Halloween! I heard there is a 'main' dessert after party- at Cinderella's castle, and another party that is Star wars themed. Which is better to go to, and how long does last?

So nice to see you here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Hibiscus!

Did someone say dessert? Some may say I have a bit of a sweet tooth and luckily there are a few dessert party options to choose from and I am sure that at least one will will suit your tastebuds!

Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace: This is a great option for Guests who prefer to have actual seating (tables/chairs) to view the Happily Ever Fireworks Show at Magic Kingdom Park.

Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing: Same dessert party as mentioned above, however after you enjoy your treats, you are escorted to a VIP viewing area in front of Cinderella Castle, where Guests typically stand to view the fireworks. This option is slightly less costly than the first.

Frozen Ever After Dessert Party at Epcot World Showcase: This is great for fans of Frozen AND it includes a ride on the Frozen Ever After attraction with little to no wait! I am a huge fan of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, but I must admit that there are some great spots to view the show without VIP viewing. Another reason I like this dessert party- it includes alcohol.

Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party at Disney's Hollywood Studios: If The Force is strong with your family, head here. Themed treats (and alcohol, too) are to be found here! Although the VIP viewing area is a standing area, you still get a great view of the show.

In terms of length, you will typically want to check-in about an hour before the show, and then most shows run approximately 15 minutes. Advanced Reservations are strongly encouraged.

    Enjoy!
