Hi Mary, welcome to planDisney!
You share a name with one of my favorite Disney characters. Keep an eye out for Mary Poppins in the United Kingdom pavilion of EPCOT's World Showcase while you're enjoying the tastes, sights, and sounds of the
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival.
Onto the business at hand, spit spot! If your family and friends don't plan on using a
MagicBand or
MagicMobile pass during your visit, they can use an admission card to scan in at park entry and Lightning Lane attractions. Admission cards can be obtained at ticket windows located outside each theme park entrance as well as the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. They should be prepared to show their ticket confirmation, Photo ID, and the credit card used for purchase. Complimentary admission card designs currently feature
Fab 50 character statues, which make them great souvenEARS! Be aware that certain Lightning Lane attractions require you to scan in at two touchpoints, so I recommend keeping the cards someplace that's easily accessible.
Switching gEARS for your second question, Mary, all Guests can book their first
Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane attraction at 7:00 a.m. I recommend being on the Tip Board of your
My Disney Experience mobile app, ready to book your first attraction at 7:00 a.m. on the dot each park day (three small lines at the bottom right of the home screen --> Tip Board --> Scroll to attraction.) Make sure all members of your planning party have
valid admission,
theme park reservations, and are connected as
Family and Friends in
My Disney Experience. This allows one member of your party to book a Lightning Lane attraction for everyone. Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guests can purchase
Individual Lightning Lane attractions at 7:00 a.m.; all other Guests may make these purchases after park opening.
I do hope your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation is practically perfect in every way, Mary. Hope to see you at planDisney again real soon!
Chim chim cher-ee,
Jennifer
