From your question, I am assuming you are trying to add someone to your connected "
Family & Friends List," but their email address is outdated. Your friend will have to update their account. You can help encourage them and let them know how, but they will need to make the change themselves.
If it is an incorrect email, but one they still use, it can be updated online by going to "
My Profile" and selecting "
Manage MyDisney Account." Changing the email address will trigger an email to the account on file with a verification code to complete the update. This is really easy if they still have the old email account.
If not, getting the message that a code is being sent to their old or incorrect email can feel unhelpful. Have no fear! They can
call Guest Services and ask for assistance. Cast Members will work to verify their identity and update the account for them.
When their account is up to date, you can add them to your Family & Friends List by selecting "
+ Add a Guest." With the name and email they have on their account, you can quickly search for and find them. An email will be sent for them to accept the connection. Then, like a flick of the Fairy Godmother's wand, you can share plans.
