My family and I are going to be going to disney 10/15-10/19. We noticed that there is a Not-So-Scarey Halloween Party. Our kids are 4, 4, and 6. Will it be age appropraite? With the times being 7-12 I don't know if it is worth the extra cost?

Hi Sara!  I am a big fan of the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party but I do realize it is an extra cost that you will have to budget into your vacation!

With this extra event ticket you can actually get into the Magic Kingdom park from 4:00pm on so that adds a few extra hours to your visit.  This is especially enticing to those families who have little ones and they know they won't make it to midnight.

The parade and Halloween fireworks are special and different from the other evening shows in the Magic Kingdom.  My favorite part of the evening is when the Headless Horseman gallops through the park streets fifteen minutes before the parade.  It is quite an amazing site to see!

The kids LOVE to get dressed up in costume for this and we encourage the parents to join them in that fun as well.  There will be many trick or treat locations and lots of entertainment and characters. My 3 year old grandson loves to dance the night away behind the carrousel in Fantasyland!  There will be a lot of attractions open and most of Fantasyland is alive with the festive holiday spirit!  I think if you take advantage of the heading to the park early you will indeed find this a fun night for the family.
