My family (DH, DS6, DS4 & DD 19mos) will be going on our first Disney World Vacation the first week of May 2016! My sons are very into Star Wars. Is May the 4th a must do for them at the Studios? I am concerned about crowds if this is a very popular da

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jedi Master Heather!

I see that you are training your young Padawans in the way of the Force! Our family came home from our vacation on May 3 this year and I was so disappointed to miss May the Fourth at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This year, there were many special merchandise items to commemorate Star Wars Day. Since I am an pin trader, I would have loved to get the commemorative May the Fourth pin. My son would love Teebo the Ewok and my husband would love the Darth Vader SMS Audio headphones. Plus, I think riding on Star Tours - The Adventure Continues on Star Wars Day with so many other huge fans would be an amazing experience that your sons would really enjoy! I recommend you plan on getting to the park as early as possible to enjoy Disney's Hollywood Studios before too many crowds hit. If the park does get busy, you could then hop to another park for the rest of the day or take a break at Downtown Disney for lunch before heading back to the park for evening activities.

May the Force (or Fourth) be with you!

Hi! I’m Crystal and I’m a wife and mommy to three little Mouseketeers. My husband and I have been enjoying Disney Parks since before we were married, and now we take our children to see Mickey and the gang as often as we can, while  managing my oldest son's food allergies. Planning is key for my family to ensure that everyone has a safe and fun trip to our favorite place and it can be just as exciting as the trip itself. I can’t wait to help you plan your next adventure there, too! Learn More About Crystal
