Hi. We are a family of 3 with a 7yr old son. We have planned a trip to Disneyland Saratoga springs August 2013. Could you recommend the best room location to request as from reviews this is a large venue with mixed reports. Thank you

    Hi there Joanne,

My husband is from Saratoga, NY and we just love revisiting his childhood by staying at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort!  Although this resort is large and spread out, it has a really relaxed and laid back vibe, and the beauty of Adirondack New York can be enjoyed everywhere on the property!

My favorite location is the Spring Building not only because it is just a short walk from the main building and dining, but also because to is the last bus stop on the property, so when you load up, you're on your way immediately.  This building is also close to the boats to Downtown Disney!  I love the convenience of being able to easily head over via a relaxing boat ride to do some shopping or grab a bite to eat!

If you're looking for peace and quiet, I recommend the Congress Park section.  This area is farther from the main buildings and eateries, but can access Downtown Disney via a short footpath.  I also like this area because it is off the beaten path and set back from the main roadway, so it's quiet.  There's even a quiet pool and hot tub nearby!

If you have read reviews that complain about the bus service at Saratoga Springs, please take into account that I personally, have not had an issue!  The buses always seem to arrive every 5-10 minutes no matter what!

    Hope you enjoy your stay,

    Amanda F.
