    Our family of 5 (our 14 yr old daughter, our 12 yr old daughter, and our 6 yr old son) are going to DW from 9/2/12-9/7/12. What is the weather/temperatures like during that time of year? I need to know what to pack. Thanks for all of your help! :)

    Hi Dana!



    September is an absolutely wonderful time to visit Florida and Walt Disney World!  I notice you're from Alabama, so you're used to the extended southern summer, I'd say.



    The average temperatures this time of year are usually in the 80s, but have been known to hang out in the 90s at times, during the days.  The lows in the evenings are usually in the 70s, but may occasionally dip down in the 60s, or, on rare occasion, a little lower.



    When we go during that time of year, we usually pack the usual shorts, t-shirts, and bathing suits.  However, we also throw in a pair of pants and a light jacket or cardigan for layering in the evenings, just in case the temperature dips to the lower end of the averages.



    Again, it's a fantastic time of year to go, with crowds generally a little lower since kids have gone back to school.  I hope you have a magical visit!
