We are a family of 4 and I was wondering how much we should tip the Magic Express driver each way (we will have our luggage with us) and how much we should tip the Mousekeeping staff daily. Thanks :)

    Hi Jackelyn!

Congratulations on your family's visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

As a general rule I would recommend using your own discretion when tipping. Most Guests typically tip Mousekeeping as follows: $1.50 to $2 per Guest staying in your hotel room per night. So for example, let's suppose you are staying for five nights. Since there are four in your room, you would leave anywhere between $6 to $8 per night for a total of $30 and $40 for a 5-nights stay.

Some Guests leave nightly tips for Mousekeeping instead of waiting until the end of their vacation. The primary reason for doing it that way is that there isn't any guarantee that the same Cast Member that is taking care of your family at the beginning of your vacation will be doing it for the duration of your stay. In addition, there might be special touches - such as towel animals for instance - that you might find in your room one day. You may not wish to wait until the end of your vacation to tip for such a thoughtful gesture, right?

Most people tip the Magical Express driver between $1 to $2 per suitcase. However, it all depends on a variety of factors. Will the driver be handling one light carry-on luggage per Guest, or will your family be traveling with two or more heavy suitcases per Guest? Again, use your own judgement. Please let me know if I can answer any other Disney Vacation planning questions for you.

Enjoy a most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
