Hi Noelle!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, where I'm delighted to help you plan your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.
I'm very sorry to hear about your 8th grade Mouseketeer. I hope the healing process is going well for him.
In terms of enjoying your trip to the
Disneyland Resort, given his ankle injury, I would say to think of the Bare Necessities and
forget about your worries and your strife!
I say this because the Disneyland Resort is considerate of all guest needs.
Depending on his condition, you may need to get a
wheelchair rental for your son at the Disneyland Park Main entrance.
I would also suggest that you visit City Hall and speak to a guest services cast member to learn about the different options available to guests with
mobility disabilities. It's possible that your son may be eligible for the
Disability Access Service, which would allow him (and the rest of your party) avoid the long attraction queues.
All this to say, I wouldn't worry about a thing!
Make sure you arrive safely at the Disneyland Resort and cast members will ensure that you have a magical time based on your needs.
ChEARs,
-Anabel M.
