Hi, My family will be there that week as well...hope to see u there.... I do have one question...Which water park is best for 12 and 5 year old girls?

    Hi Michelle,

Thanks for your question!  Hopefully you are getting your bags packed and all the last minute details in order for your upcoming vacation.  This is a tough question for me.  I have only been to Blizzard Beach with my girls, but I can honestly say that they loved it!  Many of the slides had either height requirements or height maximums, so if you kids vary widely in heights this could be an issue.  Still though, there was plenty for us to do for an entire day.

A lot comes down to personal preference in theming.  I actually like the Typhoon Lagoon theme and atmosphere much better than Blizzard Beach, but I felt that Blizzard Beach seems to move and disperse the guests much better.  The lines at Typhoon Lagoon never seemed to move quite as efficiently as they do at Blizzard Beach.

Whichever park you choose, be sure to pack some water shoes because the pavement gets very HOT.

Sorry if my answer seems a little vague...Ask me again in a week and I bet I'll have a more concrete answer - we've got both water parks on our agenda this trip!

Have a great time, and here's hoping for fantastic weather!
