    My family and I will be @ WDWR October 12-15, 2012. Does anyone know if you have to be fully checked into your hotel before you can use the comp. transportation. We will arrive around 8am on the morning of the 12th, and we want to hit DT Disney 1st.

    Hi Kymburle!

    Go ahead and hop on a bus to Downtown Disney your first morning and start enjoying your Walt Disney World vacation as soon as possible. You may check in to your resort as early as 7:00 am, but it is not necessary to do so to begin using the transportation system. Your room will probably not be ready this early, but for guests who have a package and wish to pick up tickets or activate their Disney Dining Plan this is a great benefit.
