My family of 6 1st WDW vacation is Sept 21-27. We have MYW with DDP. Our youngest is 2. I noticed that there is an automatic 18% gratuity for parties of 6 or more. Since our 2 year old doesn't get his own meal with the DDP, are we still charged 18%?

    Hi Joyce!

The only guests factored in the 18% gratuity are "charged" guests. This basically includes any party of 6 or more where the children are at least 3 years of age. Children less than 3 are considered "no charge" guests (since the concept is that they're eating off someone else's plate), and therefore, are not part of the gratuity. However, if you do decide to purchase something specifically for your 2-year old (where they are serving him or her a plate), then they will be added to the 18% gratuity. Make sense?

Hope you guys have fun planning out your vacation!
