    Our family will be at WDW third week in June 2017. Is the new restaurant The Edison scheduled to be open by then, located in Disney Springs?

    Hi Diane,

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The transformation at Disney Springs, especially the addition of so many new dining experiences, has been amazing. I was there last week and peeked around the construction fence for a glimpse of the progress on The Edison. It's coming along, and I'm excited for it to open.

    The opening date is still listed as Spring 2017. I'm hopeful that means it will be available for your vacation. I'm sure an announcement will be made on the Disney Parks Blog as soon as something is more definite.

    I'm not sure when you last visited, but I also recommend other new restaurants at Disney Springs, including Frontera Cocina, Chef Art Smith's Homecoming, STK Orlando and Morimoto Asia. The newly renovated Planet Hollywood Observatory and Paddlefish (formerly Fulton's) are coming very soon.
