My family and I will be in WDW 12/22-29, any suggesstions for dining especially Christmas dinner?

    Hi Michelle,

Thanks for a great question.  I love to share ideas about dining at Walt Disney World!

If you're looking for a traditional Christmas dinner, Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom is an excellent choice.  A group of my high school students recently ate there and they loved the food and atmosphere.

Since you will be at Walt Disney World during the holidays, I highly recommend you schedule some meals in the gorgeous Disney resorts.  You simply must see Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and Disney's Beach Club Resort while they are all decked out for the holidays, so why not schedule a meal at each?

Book a dinner at The Grand Floridian Cafe on the first floor of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.  I ate there in March and found this to be among Disney's most charming and affordable table service restaurants.  Plan a breakfast with Minnie, Goofy, and friends at The Cape May Cafe.  The breakfast buffet there is extensive and delicious.  Finally, be sure to include Whispering Canyon Cafe in your dining plans.  This restaurant offers up good BBQ and tons of fun.  Best of all, you can admire the seven-story tall Christmas tree in the lobby of this stunning resort while you dine.

If you decide you'd like to try any of these restaurants, be sure to call (407) WDW-DINE for dining reservations.  You can call as far as 180 days in advance of your vacation.

Have a magical trip in December and don't hesitate to post additional questions to the Moms Panel, if you have any.
