Hi! My family and I will be at WDW (staying outside the resort) over Labor Day wknd. Are there any exciting celebrations planned for Labour Day 2014!? Thanks

Hello Amanda and thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with such a great question!
You've already made a super choice by opting to visit Walt Disney World Resort at one of my most favorite times of the year; September is such a beautiful month in Florida.
In the USA Labor Day is celebrated annually on the first Monday in September; traditionally this Federal Holiday is enjoyed by most American families as the last weekend of summer and the start of the American Football season.
At Walt Disney World Resort the 1st September 2014 sees the spooky first night of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  If you love dressing up, trick or treating and generally being the heart and soul of ghoulish fun for Halloween then this is definitely the party for you!!
It has to be said, I adore Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party because it's such a fun way for us Brits to see how All Hallows Eve is celebrated on the other side of the pond.
Guests may purchase tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party via this link or by speaking with a Cast Member on 0800 16 90 730.
If I can help you further plan your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort please pop back to ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
