Our family is going to WDW in Sept. 2012 and using the free dining plan, can we share table service credits/meals between two family members? I have received a few different answers. Thanks! = )

    Hi Stacy!

Congratulations on your September Walt Disney World vacation and Free Dining Plan!

Under the dining plan, when eating at a Table Service dining location which is a Character Meal or buffet style restaurant, 1 credit per person in your dining party reservation will be deducted from your dining plan. Sharing of meals is not permitted at these locations. When dining at an a la carte table service restaurant, you may be able to share a meal if you should choose to do so. Credits within the Disney Dining Plan are specific to adults and children in the party however, so be aware that if you do share an entree or someone in your party chooses not to order a meal, you will have an uneven number of dining credits remaining for your subsequent meals. It's a good idea to consult your Server regarding sharing of meals under the dining plan as the policy may differ from location to location depending on the restaurant's ownership & management.

Counter Service meal credits and Snack credits however may be shared amongst family members as you wish. View the full 2012 Disney Dining Plan Brochure regarding redeeming your meals via the link provided here.

Wishing you a simply Magical time on your Walt Disney World vacation Stacy!
