My family and I will be at WDW right before Christmas. Is Orlando weather at that time of year really conducive to Splash Mountain and Kali River Rapids?

    Hello, Susan!

A holiday visit to Walt Disney World Resort is always a magical experience! Over the years we have visited many times during December and have experienced weather extremes. I have spent Christmas Day bundled up in layers and the next year toured the Resort in shorts and t-shirts. However, no matter what the temperature, I always enjoy a ride on Splash Mountain and a 50-foot drop into the briar patch! If you really want to enjoy a water attraction, and the weather is wet or cold, then consider a Locker Rental to store a change of dry clothes. That way you can avoid walking around in wet clothes if the temperature is chilly. Don't forget to pack an extra pair of dry socks and shoes!

Wishing you a warm, pixie-dusted December visit!
