    Our family is going to WDW on Oct 1 -6. My son's 11 bday is on Oct 1. Have 2 other boys ages 8 & 5. Looking for ideas for dinner on Oct 1. We plan to be at Magic Kingdom that day. Have a reservation for the Hoop-Dee-Do Review but not sure.

    Hi Daniela! I actually think your idea of Hoop Dee Doo would be a perfect birthday celebration dinner. It is located at Fort Wilderness and it is an easy boat ride from the Magic Kingdom to this resort. You would catch the boat directly in front of the park and can return the same way to catch a bus back to your resort if you have one of the two earlier dinner times. Once you reach Fort Wilderness it is a short five minute walk to Pioneer Hall where the great show is held.

    I am planning on taking my six year old grandson the end of October and it will be his third or fourth time. He loves it and loves the audience participation throughout the show. They will take time to recognize all guests who are celebrating a birthday or other special date so your son will certainly feel special. There is a lot of clapping and foot stomping and just down right fun. I say go for it and if you get there early enough head to the stables and visit some of the great Disney horses. The stable is located just back from the Pioneer Hall building and any cast member can guide you to the location.
