My family will be WDW from Nov. 28-Dec.3. We are bringing my 4 year granddaughter (her first visit). In your opinion, what would be more enjoyable for a 4 year old...Pirates and Pals Fireworks cruise or Fantasmic! ?

    HI Elizabeth,

You have a lucky granddaughter!  I would vote for the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Cruise for your little princess.  (I just surveyed my kids, and they cast their ballots for the cruise as well!)  Fantasmic is a spectacular show, however, it can be a bit intense (a.k.a. frightening) for young children.  When my boys were younger, they spend part of the show hiding in my lap.  In addition, the amphitheater tends to fill up and as a result guests start lining up over an hour before the performance.  This might be a bit of a struggle for a preschooler.  The cruise is at a set time, with a prescheduled reservation, so you are able to arrive at the Contemporary in time for your voyage.  The vantage point from which you see Wishes is truly spectacular, and the Cast Members who serve as your crew mates are hysterical.  They play trivia games and engage in other antics that are sure to delight everyone in your party.

    Have a magical trip!
