Hello. Our family of 4 is going to WDW for 7 nights in August (on resort) and planning to have dinner at Ohana. I see it has a ticketed dinner show as well. Can you make normal dining-only reservations (on the Disney Dining Plan) without tickets?

    Hello, Rebecca!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for submitting your question!

First of all: YAY! I'm thrilled that you chose to stay inside the Walt Disney World Resort! Beyond the fantastic theming, Guests of the Disney Resort hotels enjoy many time-saving benefits. Don't forget to make the most of each one of them!

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is my favorite Disney Resort hotel, so I'm even happier to help you today!

This hotel has four restaurants that serve dinner: Capt. Cook's (a yummy Quick Service), Kona Cafe (a fantastic Table Service option for calmer nights), 'Ohana (the famous family-style location), and Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show (the ticketed dinner show).

You will be able to make reservations to have dinner at 'Ohana and pay with Dining Plan Table Service credits. If you'd rather attend Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, you will also be able to pay for it with your Dining Plan Table Service credits. They are separate dining experiences, and both are very cool!

If you have more questions about your trip, please let us know! We will always be here to help!

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
