Our family is going to WDW next month. We have already booked our resort and we are looking for a ticket/dining plan. Are there any discount plans that do not include a resort?

    Hi, Miranda!

You can certainly turn your Disney Resort "room only" reservation into a package and add-on tickets and the Disney Dining Plan.  To do so, simply have your reservation number handy and call a Disney Reservationist at (407)W-DISNEY for pricing.

The only way to get the Disney Dining Plan is to make it part of a package.  It cannot be purchased without staying on property at a Disney Resort AND purchasing park tickets.  Because of this, you will not see a discount plan that includes only the Dining Plan and Tickets.

The good news is that even without any special offers, the Disney Dining Plan is a great value and can be a big savings for a family when you add up all the great dining you will get for the money.  The bad news is that if you are staying off property, you will not eligible for the Dining Plan.

I hope this all works out for you.  Have a great time in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
