Hello, our family will be going do WDW this next June and I will be video taping our holiday. I was wondering if you were aloud to video tape any of the rides. If you are, which ones can you?

    Hi Travis!

Typically on most rides guests are permitted to video tape their experiences on the rides.  If there is no video recording permitted on a particular ride, there will be instructions not to record video or take photographs.  There are a few things to keep in mind when videoing a ride or attraction:

    1. Do not use a video light especially on dark rides because it can ruin other guest's ride experiences

    2. Make sure that your video camera is waterproof if you plan on bringing it on a wet ride like Splash Mountain or Kali River Rapids

    3. Have a tripod or monopod with you to add stability to your videos if you plan on recording stage shows, nighttime parades, or fireworks

    4. Bring a camera bag to hold and carry your video camera when you are not using it

I hope that your June holiday in Walt Disney World is filled with magic and incredible video memories!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
